How can I make a reservation?
After selecting your desired destination and determining your travel dates, your request to check the availability will be needed. We will check the availability with our partner organizations and will get back to you as soon as possible. After the confirmation, you will receive all information that you need.
How can I cancel a reservation?
If you wish to cancel your booking, you have to reach us at least 3 days prior to arrival so that we can inform the organization in time.
Is it possible to be a volunteer?
Sustainable Adventures supports aid organizations by providing them a long-term financing opportunity. As a traveler, you can choose whether you will be just a visitor or at the same time a volunteer. Thus, both are possible in our concept. In particular, when you stay for at least a few months, volunteerism might be also interesting for you. But NGOs would have different requirements for both situations surely. You need to indicate the aim of your trip in advance.
How can I pay?
You directly pay when you arrived at the aid organization in cash. If you want to pay by credit card, please inform us in advance.
When I have a problem with my host, what can I do?
If you have any problems during your stay please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@sustainableadventures.de. We will reach you back as soon as possible. You should also follow the instructions in your traveler guidelines that you will receive with your confirmation mail.

What do I need to become a part of the Sustainable Adventures team?
If you are a non-governmental organization or community-based organization that is interested in our concept you are more than welcome to get in touch with us. On this page, you can reach more information about the requirements. We are excited to contact you about your projects and accommodation opportunities.
How does the process proceed?
After the first contact, we will make an online appointment to answer all your questions and ask some questions about our criteria. In the next step, you shall fill in the form that shows us detailed information about your NGO and the accommodation opportunities and send us some pictures about them so that we can create your profile on our website. Then you are ready to welcome our travelers and/or volunteers.
How we can set our prices?
The amount charged for your hosting should be calculated according to the local hostel and homestay prices. If you need help with this issue, our team members will help you in assessing what might be an appropriate price.
